I shoot what I like.
Many photographers have a "genre".  I don't.  I shoot what I see as interesting, bold, detailed.  I don't call myself a "street", "portrait" or "abstract" photographer.  I don't want to be cast into any particular mold. I am very individualistic and my work shows that.
Everyone can take a shot and print it on photo paper, but that doesn't make it interesting.  Now take that same shot and use a fine art textured paper, acrylic or metal and it will be unique.
I like to explore with my camera. Different places and cultures.
I am American and European. I spend time in both places capturing moments and places in different cultures.
